Innovation Re-defined
The benches, planters, and outdoor furniture you see in Dubai's parks, hotel landscaping, and public promenades do not arrive off a catalogue shelf. They are designed for a specific environment, built to survive years of direct sun and occasional rainfall, and — in the best installations — chosen to complement the architecture around them rather than clash with it.
PointX manufactures custom concrete benches and GRC outdoor furniture in Dubai, produced from the same Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete that defines our GRC and GRP architectural product range. Our benches and seating elements are available in a range of forms, finishes, and dimensions — and everything we produce can be customised to fit the specific design intent and site conditions of your project.
Traditional concrete is heavy, difficult to transport, and without treatment, it absorbs moisture and stains over time. GRC — Glassfibre Reinforced Concrete — solves all three problems while retaining the visual character and structural integrity that makes concrete so well-suited to outdoor furniture.
| Property | Standard concrete | GRC (PointX) |
|---|---|---|
| Weight | Very heavy — difficult to transport and install | Significantly lighter — same strength at a fraction of the weight |
| Durability in UAE climate | Prone to surface cracking under heat cycling | Designed to withstand extreme temperature variation |
| Design flexibility | Limited to standard forms | Fully mouldable — any shape, texture, profile |
| Colour and finish options | Natural grey or basic pigment | Wide range including stone, terrazzo, natural aggregates |
| Maintenance | Requires periodic sealing and repair | Low maintenance with appropriate finish treatment |
PointX produces a range of outdoor seating and landscape furniture elements for projects across Dubai and the UAE. All products are available in custom dimensions and finishes.
Our concrete benches are produced in both standard profiles and fully custom configurations to suit the scale and design language of the site. From simple single-seater park benches to long communal seating elements for public plazas, we manufacture to the specification you provide. Standard finishes include smooth faced, exposed aggregate, stone-effect, and pigmented concrete.
A popular choice for hotel lobbies, landscaped entrances, and public green spaces — the planter bench combines integrated seating with a planting cavity. This pairs well with our terracotta and clay pot range for projects that want a coherent outdoor material palette across both hardscape and planting elements.
Backless concrete benches are favoured for contemporary public realm projects and minimalist landscape designs. Backed versions — with a GRC or GRP back panel — are more common in commercial and hospitality settings where occupant comfort over longer periods matters. Both are available from PointX in standard and bespoke configurations.
GRC's mouldability makes it an excellent material for curved, sculptural, and feature seating — the kind of bespoke landscape element that defines a space rather than just furnishing it. If you are working with a landscape architect or designer with a specific form in mind, our fabrication team can produce it.
Alongside benches, PointX produces GRC bollards, low walls, and boundary elements that complement our seating range. These are often specified together for public realm and commercial landscape projects requiring a unified design language.
PointX has supplied GRC outdoor furniture to a range of project types across the UAE, including:
Every project is different. PointX works directly with landscape architects, interior designers, and contractors to develop bench and outdoor furniture specifications that fit the project rather than the other way around.
We produce detailed shop drawings for client approval before fabrication begins. Changes at drawing stage cost nothing. Changes after production do. We make sure you have seen exactly what you are getting before we make it.
PointX is a manufacturer, not a reseller. Our GRC outdoor furniture is produced in-house at our Al Quoz facility in Dubai — the same operation that manufactures our GRC and GRP architectural products for building facades and cladding. This means we understand the material deeply and can control quality at every stage of production.
We have been supplying high-quality architectural and decorative materials to contractors, developers, and designers across the UAE for decades — and we bring that same precision and client focus to our outdoor furniture range.
We work on both small and large orders. Single-unit commissions are possible for bespoke or feature pieces; larger landscape projects are typically quoted on a per-unit basis with volume pricing.
Lead times depend on complexity and order volume. Standard bench profiles in common finishes can typically be produced within 2–3 weeks of drawing approval. Custom forms or large quantities require a longer lead time — we will confirm this clearly at the quotation stage.
Yes. PointX can manage delivery and installation across Dubai and the wider UAE. For larger projects, we coordinate directly with the main contractor or landscape sub-contractor to ensure the delivery schedule fits the overall programme.
GRC is a low-maintenance material. A periodic wash-down and, depending on the finish, an occasional application of a sealant product will keep the surface in good condition for many years. We advise on the appropriate maintenance regime for each specific finish at handover.
If you are sourcing outdoor seating for a landscape project, public realm development, or commercial installation in Dubai or the UAE, PointX can provide exactly what you need — manufactured to your specification, in the right material, with the finish and durability the environment demands.
